Acceptance

Acceptance is really awful if you think about it. It's tolerance more than it is something true. Not one person that I love would I say "I accept." Never ever give me your acceptance. Love me or move along. 

It's just such a weird concept. You get it and it feels great. Seeking it feels desperate. Not receiving it feels miserable. Screw that!!!

Why do we bother to seek for people to love us. Friends, coworkers, family. 

Family being the biggest one. There should be no need to long for our family members to love us. That should always be a given. Those are your people. No matter what. 

I hope that my children know I am always their people. And I hope they feel the same for each other.
