4 is a meaningful number. 4 leaves on a clover is good luck. 4 chambers of the heart. 4 tires on my minivan. 4 numbers in the ATM pin. 4 kids. There is a direct connection here. I have 4 kids. My days are filled with work so I can buy them things. The arduous task of driving them from place to place. And with four, a little luck that we make it through the day can't hurt.
