Holidays

We just got home from school and on the ride home Madison and Aaron were discussing the upcoming holidays. Conversation went like this:

Madison: Do you know what is coming up next Aaron, Thanksgiving.
Aaron: Well you are not going to like Thanksgiving Madison. You dont do anything.
M: Yes you do. You eat with your family and the food is healthy for your belly and body and head.
A: Right

Me: Thanksgiving is very special because you spend time with your family and remember what you are thankful for.

A: Well you know what is after that? Christmas.
M: No Chanukah is next.
Me: Yes Chanukah comes up first and then Christmas.
A: Well do you know what you do on Christmas?
M: Yes you watch new shows on tv and spend time with your family and decorate your Christmas tree.
A: And you you open presents. And wait for Santa.
M: Santa is not real Aaron. He is only on tv.

UH-OH!!! I mean we told her this and are totally fine with her knowing that Santa is not real but maybe it is not the best that our wiser than her years daughter spread this knowledge to her peers. Oh well, cant put that cat back in the bag.
